Siva Adoption Notes   Basic info:      •    ~1 year old, spayed female mixed breed, 52 lbs     •    current rabies and distemper vaccines, heartworm negative, on preventatives     •    brown and white, short coat     •    house-trained     •    friendly to adults and kids - she loves everyone! Biography:      •    Siva has a very loving personality and will follow you around the house, attempting to help you with whatever you're doing. While she's not very talented at household chores, she'll always keep you company while you do them - plus, she has a goofy streak that will make you laugh the whole time. Siva is potty trained and eats her meals in her crate. Her favorite treats are bully sticks, peanut butter, and cream cheese (perfect for hiding pills in). She loves to dissect plush toys, but don't worry, she doesn't try to eat the stuffing - it'll just look like snowmageddon when she's done. Her other hobbies include going for sniffy walks, playing tug, and cuddling! Siva is always game to hop in the car with you to run errands or go for a hike. If you want a fun-loving companion who is also a champion snuggler, Siva is your girl. She lives to snuggle and fully believes she is a lap dog, even though she weighs 50 lbs. Every night on the couch, she'll stare at you with her big brown eyes, and you'll know that you've truly found your soul dog. .      •    Siva is a young dog who is full of energy! She is still learning to play with people and toys at the same time - she may mouth or bite your hand, arm, or sleeve when she is excited or anxious. Recommend using positive reinforcement training to help redirect her to toys, treats, and calming activities like a licky-mat or a chew. If she has trouble settling down, consider asking your vet about anti-anxiety medications to help her through the transition to her new home.    The puppy adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the future spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All puppies have had a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
