Blitzo, Blitz, Blitzie or Blitzo--he responds to all. He considers himself a lapdog. He loves to play with cat stick toys and pretend he is hunting birds (yes, he is a little quirky). He is very sweet and loving. He sometimes will sing the songs of his people like a husky (usually in protest or requesting to be let out). Otherwise, he is pretty quiet most of the time. He loves, love. He really enjoys the hemp chew sticks and likes to have a fluffy toy to murder every once in a while. Usually he gets tough toys to play with since he can saw through a regular toy with ease. He loves to play tug-of-war and just  play in general. But, once you are done playing with him, he is more than happy to play by himself with his toys.  Blitzo may do best as the only pet in the home or at least have very slow introductions to any cats or dogs. He has done well with the cats in the home right now, but he does have a prey drive to contend with. He has played with other dogs but has also gotten into fights after eating. Blitzo was saved from a very neglectful and abusive home as a puppy. He has made great strides, but he has a lot of hesitation toward men. He has nipped a friend's ankle in the home when they moved too quickly. He struggles with going on walks since he gets scared after a few minutes and will just want to go home. Blitzo is a very good dog. He listens well and really loves his people. He needs a patient person willing to bolster his confidence. He is reactive to men and new people in general doing better with women and people of the queer community. Meet Blitzo today!
