Description

THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue and its volunteers have not evaluated this animal in any way and can not be held liable for the current condition or future care of the animal. Please work with the specific contact in the posting to confirm if the animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested, etc. and for a complete description of the animal's personality and behavior traits.  Everest has been with me since I adopted her as a kitten in 2021.  She’s a gentle, sensitive soul who thrives in calm, quiet  environments. She can be shy at first and tends to seek out cozy, covered spaces  (like under a bed or tucked into a quiet corner) while she settles in.  Loud noises and busy households can overwhelm her, so she’ll do best  with someone patient who can give her the time and space to feel safe.  Once she trusts you, though, her personality really shines. She’s  incredibly sweet and affectionate. She loves belly rubs and will flop  over and meow to ask for them. She’ll sometimes curl up in your lap  while you’re relaxing, and it’s clear she forms strong bonds with  her person. She’s never shown any aggression (no hissing, swatting,  or biting) just a soft, gentle temperament. She has a playful side too. She enjoys dangly toys, batting around  small balls, and when she gets the zoomies, she’ll happily trill as  she runs around the house. Everest has lived with other cats, but she tends to get stressed  sharing space and would likely do best as the only pet in a quiet home  where she can feel fully at ease, but would be fine in an environment  with other soft-tempered cats.
