Description
Shelby is a sweet girl who is now in a NJ foster home! Shelby was found as a stray in Louisiana and has overcome more than most dogs ever should. Due to an old gunshot injury Shelby has a slight wobble and may occasionally need a little extra time or assistance with stairs. It doesn’t slow her down from enjoying walks, running on the beach or being part of everyday family life. In fact, it only makes her more special. One of the best things about life with Shelby is how easy she is to live with. She’s house and crate trained, she is great on a leash, knows basic commands, and has excellent manners around the house. Quiet and easygoing, she’s content to relax nearby, whether you’re working, watching TV, or out running errands. Shelby enjoys treats, but what she loves most is being rewarded by a simple pet or being beside her people. During meals, she’ll quietly curl up under the table without begging, happy just to be part of the family. Shelby has a calm, easygoing nature that makes her a wonderful companion for families, couples, retirees, or anyone looking for a loyal best friend. She isn’t looking for a perfect home—just a loving one. Shelby is: • Spayed • House-trained • Dog-friendly • Great on a leash • Knows basic commands • Calm and easy-going • Exceptionally affectionate • The ultimate couch companion Shelby is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and completed her heartworm regiment. Her adoption donation is $500. - Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
