#MADLoveArizona Update Arizona is settling in beautifully and starting to show everyone the sweet girl we knew was in there all along. She’s becoming calmer, more settled, and is learning how to relax into daily life.Arizona has been working hard during short daily training sessions and is already practicing: Sit Down Heel Around Between…both on and off leash! She absolutely LOVES to play fetch and is starting to understand the balance between playtime and settling down afterward. Once she gets her energy out, she’s doing a good job transitioning into her “off switch.” She’s also becoming more engaged with her foster’s pack, especially enjoying little chase games with Skipper, while mostly following the pack leader around and observing everything around her.Arizona is incredibly smart with a strong working mind and really thrives when focused during training sessions. Because of that, she would do best with someone familiar with working breeds, especially Malinois or German Shepherds, who can continue giving her the structure and engagement she enjoys. The best part? She just keeps getting sweeter every single day. Dogs like Arizona need time to decompress after everything they’ve been through. Watching her slowly feel safe, build confidence, and start acting like a normal dog again is exactly why fostering matters so much.Thank you again to everyone who helped get this girl to safety and to Deb for continuing to give her the patience, structure, and love she deserves. All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and 6 month subscription.
