Miso

Description

Miso is about 2 years old, smallish cat, loves to sleep beside someone at nighttime, but is skittish and not cuddly. She purrs with delight to snuggle close at night time in bed. She does know here name—and will come with it is ‘bedtime’.  Her tipped ear are the clue that she would have been released, but she seemed to small and defenseless to be in the world unprotected so I kept her inside. She has NEVER not used the litterbox—unlike some ’tame’ kitties here! She has slept near the small dog. She will keep her boundaries but is not ‘mean’.  She believes that grooming ‘me’ includes a nibble but that is a typical cat like behavior from mom to kitten. She didn’t have her mom long enough to know that behavior needs to be outgrown.   (I push my finger into her throat and she is learning—if the teeth engage around the finger, it goes down the throat—she does not like that.. hence, less chewing on fingers!)
