Meet Geenie!Geenie is a sweet 2-year-old spayed girl who is looking for a loving home where she can relax, explore, and be part of the family. Geenie is wonderfully easy on leash and doesn’t pull, whether she’s exploring the shelter play yard or taking a walk. She’s also a polite young lady who sits nicely for treats and takes them gently. Fetch isn’t really her thing, but she’s perfectly happy exploring and enjoying the outdoors.Geenie is also a great car rider. She recently went on a Doggy Day Out with one of our volunteers. She had no trouble hopping into the backseat and standing quietly throughout the ride. Geenie got to spend most of her time relaxing on a cool patio, happily stretched out at the volunteer's feet. She was content to simply hang out and enjoy the day. Geenie was also calm and respectful around the cat in the home.. When she was in the same room as the cat, she showed no desire to chase or approach, and she remained relaxed on leash. She gave the cat space and did not stare or fixate.She’s easy to handle, enjoys leisurely walks and sniffing adventures, and settles nicely when it’s time to relax. Geenie sounds like the kind of dog who would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a gentle, well-mannered pup to share life’s everyday moments with. Could Geenie be your new best friend?
