While I was recovering, I made sure my colony caregiver understood exactly how I felt… by chasing her car when she tried to leave. Not my safest move, but message received. The next time a trap showed up, I happily walked right in and traded street life for the comfort of indoor living. And I didn’t come alone. Right behind me, as always, was my petite, shy orange sister Ballard—my little shadow. And if you happen to like the idea of me having a built-in sidekick, I’d happily spend forever with her. I’m an independent girl who likes to be close . Sometimes… very close. I’ll lock eyes with you like I’m reading your soul, and if you don’t immediately tell me how pretty I am, I’ll just help myself to your lap. From there, my front paws go right up on your shoulders so I can get nice and close—just in case you needed a better view of my face. I enjoy the finer things in life: other cats, yummy soft food, and a good session of Cat TV.
