Tempura – Active, Affectionate, and Fun-Loving Tempura is a 2-year-old German Shepherd Dog mix weighing 64 pounds, with an energetic personality and an affectionate side. Adventurous walking buddy: Tempura walks nicely while sniffing and exploring, though he may pull occasionally when excited. He loves to run around and frequently checks back in with his person. Play hard, relax hard: After getting his energy out, Tempura is happy to settle down, lounge in the grass, and enjoy some quiet pets and scratches. Smart and treat-motivated: He takes treats politely and responds especially well to cues like “sit” and “come” once he realizes cheese treats are involved. Social and playful: Tempura has enjoyed games of chase in doggie playgroup. He is also working on staying calm when passing excited, barking dogs. Tempura would do best with appropriately matched dog companions or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.
