BIO:  Skylar is a mere slip of a girl at only 7.76 pounds! Skylar has not been well socialized, so whoever adopts her must have the patience to bring her out of her shell. She may never be completely comfortable around strangers. After she gets comfortable in your home, she is a real sweetheart. Skylar would be a great little snuggler... settle in on the couch together and catch a movie or just cuddle. Understand again, she will need YOU to teach her how to be a pet and not be afraid of the unknown. Are you up to the challenge? Little Skylar truly is a sweet girl and does great with other dogs her size. However, no big dogs in the adoptive home, please; they would frighten her. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund’s back or get bitten.
