Meet Cameron  He is now in a NJ Foster home! Cameron is a handsome young German Shepherd mix with a playful personality and all the enthusiasm of a growing puppy! He's a smart, food-motivated boy who is learning quickly. He walks nicely on a leash, is comfortable in his crate, and has become much more confident meeting new people, happily greeting familiar faces with a wagging tail. Cameron loves playing with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion in his new home. He enjoys squeaky toys, puzzle games, treat-filled Kongs, and a good chew toy. He is very curious about squirrels, birds, and cats, and his foster family has been working on the "leave it" command to help him stay focused during walks. Like any puppy, Cameron is still working on his manners (don't leave snacks on the counter!), but he has a wonderful temperament and wasn't even bothered by Fourth of July fireworks. With continued positive training and plenty of love, Cameron is sure to grow into an amazing lifelong companion. Cameron is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. His adoption donation is $600. - Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
