Description

APPLICATION REQUIRED from www.dashdog.org  Adoption Fee $450 - the fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE and is not specific for any dog or puppy; it goes to the expenses of the organization as a whole* OUR APPLICATION IS ON www.dashdog.org and must be completed in order to set up a meeting. Our listed dogs ARE READY IMMEDIATELY; we only meet with families WHO ARE READY TO ADOPT! IF YOU APPLY and if WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND HIM OR HER HOME!   MEET PIPPA! A BEAUTIFUL GIRL WITH AN EQUALLY BEAUTIFUL HEART! Some dogs just have a way of quietly working their way into your heart, and Pippa is definitely one of them! This beautiful young Australian Shepherd-Border Collie girl has gorgeous, distinctive facial markings and a medium frame with the prettiest little fantail! But it’s Pippa’s sweet, gentle personality that really makes her shine. A LITTLE ABOUT PIPPA: • Gentle, sweet, and easygoing. She’s not an alpha female and would benefit from continued one-on-one socialization with other dogs. • Completely housebroken and crate trained! • Knows how to use a doggie door but will also let you know when she’d like to go outside or come back in. • Loves leisurely leash walks and spending time outdoors. • Enjoys running around the yard with her “foster brother and sister” . We’re not entirely sure she understands the concept of actually RETRIEVING a ball, but she sure loves chasing them! • Has a particular fascination with squirrels in the trees and along the fence. That’s really the only time you’ll hear Pippa barking, other than when someone comes to the door. Pippa is a girl who appreciates the simple things in life. She loves being outside, hanging out on the patio or relaxing in the grass, especially when the weather is beautiful and there’s a nice breeze. ❤️ AND HERE’S OUR FAVORITE PART… It took Pippa just a couple of days to warm up to her foster family and decide she wanted to be part of the pack. At first, she slept in another room. Then she moved to the floor beside the bed. Next thing we knew, she was sleeping on the bed with the other dogs. And now? Well, she has apparently decided that whatever little piece of the bed her foster mom has left available is perfectly acceptable! That’s Pippa. A little reserved at first, but once she knows you’re her person, she wants to be right there with you. She’s looking for a loving home where she can enjoy leisurely walks, a little yard time, canine companionship, and most importantly, a family who will let her become part of their everyday lives. Could Pippa be the missing piece of your family? INTERESTED IN ADOPTING PIPPA? Please complete our adoption application at: www.dashdog.org Then TEXT SARA at: 214-549-9905 I’ll check your application and get back to you! Please help us find this beautiful girl the forever home she deserves! General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.
