At just 1 year old and a whopping 88 pounds, Luna is a gorgeous Blue Merle Great Dane with a sweet personality and plenty of energy to share! This beautiful girl came to us as an owner surrender when her previous family found themselves too busy to give her the time and attention she needs. Luna is an active girl who would love an adventurous family that enjoys getting out, exploring, and making their four-legged family member part of the fun. She's still young and has plenty of puppy enthusiasm, so she'll need a family ready to keep her both physically and mentally engaged. When it comes to the basics, she's already off to a great start! Luna is kennel trained, housebroken, and knows how to use a dog door. Now, let's talk about her ideal home. Luna would really prefer to be the queen of her castle and be the only dog in the household. She's not particularly fond of sharing her toys or food with other dogs, and she can be a little nippy when meeting new canine friends. She's also selective about which dogs she enjoys playing with and can be a bit bossy with others. For everyone's happiness and safety, we think she'd be happiest without having to share her home, toys, or humans with another dog. Luna has so much love and fun to offer the right family. She's a sweet, energetic girl who just needs a home that can give her the time, attention, and adventures she deserves. If you're looking for a big, beautiful best friend to be your one-and-only adventure buddy, Luna might just be your girl! ❤️ Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $300. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.
