Frida is a fabulous 7-year-old Xoloitzcuintli with a BIG personality and an even bigger desire to be the center of your universe! This lovely lady firmly believes that all attention should be directed toward her! While she would be perfectly happy as the one and only canine queen of her castle, she might also do well with a calm, similarly sized canine companion who respects her personal space. Rowdy dogs and chaotic playtime are simply not her cup of tea! Cats, however, are perfectly acceptable roommates. Frida enjoys toys and will happily bring one to her favorite human when she's ready for playtime. She prefers playing with her people rather than participating in canine shenanigans. A quieter household where she can enjoy life at her own pace would be her idea of paradise. Frida is house-trained and crate-trained, and she considers her crate her own private sanctuary. She also hasn't quite figured out that she's a big girl and would happily snuggle right up to you without a second thought! While Frida isn't much for giving kisses, she has her own special way of showing affection—gently snuggling your face with her muzzle. Who needs kisses when you've got that? And did we mention blankets? Frida firmly believes there is no such thing as too many blankets! A soft bed, a cozy blanket, and someone to adore her are her idea of absolute heaven. Frida is currently working on her fitness journey and will need a family committed to helping her shed some extra pounds through slow, steady weight loss and gentle encouragement to get moving. She's not exactly volunteering for a marathon anytime soon! Frida's dream home? A peaceful kingdom where she can enjoy being the center of attention, perhaps share her space with a mellow canine companion after a careful introduction, and retire to her luxurious blanket-covered accommodations whenever she pleases.
