Teddy

Description

Meet Teddy! At 12 years young and just 11.6 pounds, Teddy is a little gentleman with an enormous amount of sweetness to share. This West Highland White Terrier has the softest coat, an even softer heart, and a personality that will steal yours in no time.Teddy came to CAWS as a stray from a rural Utah shelter and has already been through quite a bit! He recently went through some necessary medical care and recovery was a little tough, but after some TLC, he's doing fantastic! Teddy is house-trained and crate-trained, although he would prefer not to spend long hours in a crate. His foster family works from home and gives him regular opportunities to go outside. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and both sexes, has absolutely no mean bone in his body, and isn't much of a barker. He loves snuggling on the couch, sleeping alongside his two- and four-legged family members, and spending leisurely time in the yard.Teddy is looking for a quiet, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort and security. He isn't suited for a rowdy household or a home with young children. He can see, but he does stumble a bit, so a home with few or no stairs is important. A securely fenced yard is also a must so he can safely enjoy his outdoor time at his own pace. His beautiful, silky coat will need occasional brushing and regular grooming.Teddy has been through a lot, and what he deserves now is simple: a safe home, a soft place to land, and people who will love him unconditionally for the rest of his life. We believe he has plenty of wonderful years and cuddles ahead of him, and we can't wait for him to find the forever family he so deserves. If you have room in your heart and home for this extraordinary little gentleman, please submit an application to meet Teddy. ❤️Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100.
