Honey Bee, the polydactyl (extra digits), is a lover!!!!!! He is the cutest cat in the world, in my humble opinion. If you wake up to go to the bathroom at 4am, he will be right there wanting to be pet. He loves to play and hunt and can do so for hours! He loves his favorite moon toy. I think he cries when he wants to keep playing! Honey Bee adores being pet and loving on you, though he does not like to be picked up. He will become very comfortable in your home quickly and sleep with his paws in their air once he feels safe (which doesn't take long). When he’s hiding, it helps to meet him where he is at, and just reach out your hand with a soft voice and he will pur and come to you if he wants to be pet. He loves to be pet under his ears when slowly falling asleep for a nap! He takes his time eating wet food and grazes on kibble throughout the day, although that tends to make for an overweight can so we don't recommend that feeding style. He can become active in early mornings! Honey Bee is a very good cat! In my home, he did not scratch or ruin any furniture or jump on any counters! He adores to look out big windows! This is very important to him! He is a true companion and such a lovely cat to be around. When 2 friends visited, he opened right up to them! He is truly so special and deserves a home that is stable with plenty of time for a lot of love and attention!  He just wants to love and be loved and play! If lucky, he will hold your hand with his extra polydactyl thumb :)Honey Bee came to us with a bad eye, infected for too long without treatment but now that his eye is out, he is a happy go lucky kitty after he gets over the initial shock of a new place.  He is very loving and sweet and wants to hang out with you and follow you around and rub on you.  When he arrived at his foster home, he hid overnight and by the next morning he was out being the lover boy that he is  He has adjusted very well to living safely as an indoor only kitty and with only one eye, for his safety, he should remain indoor only for life.    Meet Honey Bee at our weekly cat adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm on Saturday.  All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, given multiiple rounds of dewormer and started on monthly flea preventative.
