BLUEY

Description

Bluey (A141751) is a 3-year-old AK Husky who weighed over 65 pounds on intake! 10/31/26 Bluey, previously known as Tequila, was brought back to the shelter due to no fault of her own. While in her most recent home, she was described as being a wonderful dog! She was said to be excellent with kids, and would even sleep on their beds with them! Bluey was allowed free roam of the house and was said to be housebroken. In general, she would mind well when left alone in the home. She would occasionally get into things if given the opportunity. Bluey was described as being outgoing, friendly, affectionate and gentle. She knows some basic commands, such as sit, lay down, and paw. She LOVES giving paw and will sometimes do it, even if you haven't told her to! If you are interested in meeting this sweet and affectionate girl, please give us a call!04/16/26 This goofy girl is Tequila! Tequila was surrendered to the shelter with her buddy Chewy! These kiddos have been living the outdoor sled dog life. They are used to living on a doghouse, so if you plan on transitioning them indoors, keep in mind they will need help with all the basics. However, they may be keen to learn! They have previously run a dog team, but their surrendering owner felt they may enjoy being on a smaller rec team or even becoming your skijor buddy. They are an active breed, so they will need continued mental and physical stimulation. Both Tequila and Chewy were said to do well with children, strangers, and adults. They also have historically done well with other dogs and livestock. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new people and other animals. If you are interested in meeting Tequila, please let us know!
