Marigold

Description

Marigold is an incredibly sweet, beautiful kitten who needs a "hospice adopter." She has a grade 6 heart murmur (the most severe). Today, she is a normal kitten - affectionate, playful, and happy all the time. But her life will likely be quite short. We can't know whether she will live weeks, months, or years. She can't go under anesthesia, which means she can't be spayed and absolutely must be kept inside at all times. She's not limited now, but we would expect her to slow down and likely struggle with breathing as her disease progresses. She may pass suddenly, or she may need humane euthanasia if she declines slowly. Her adopter will need to be prepared for one of these outcomes and be ready to support her through that journey.   Today, though, Marigold is a delightful little girl. She loves people, is great around other cats, and loves to run around. She'll do anything for a treat and will sleep beside you all night. She has so much love to give and will share all of it with you no matter how long she has.   Text Sadie: 209-352-3063   Apply to adopt: sonoracatrescue.net/adopt-now
