Curry.

Description

Meet Curry! Curry is an adorable tabby who is fostered along several other foster kitties and doing well.  She is very loving towards people and will seek attention. Excellent litter box maners. This beauty loves to cuddle and play with her toys. Curry came to ARWOB as a young kitten and was adopted when she was 6 months old along with another foster kitty named Ethan (a handsome orange tabby) however, after 4 months of being adopted her family contacted us about Curry biting things like pillow cases, cords, etc. In the end it was thought she had PICA (a medical condition that dogs/cats could exhibiting everything/anything for no reason and sadly end up with medical complications like obstructions) something they could not afford, understandably. We accepted Curry back into ARWOB at her old foster (where she was fostered for months before adoption and never exhibited issues) we have had her for 6 weeks and no signs of PICA. She may be interested in cords (cell/laptop etc) but very mildly and rarely just like any other cat and much less than kittens. Its rare she will chew anything but interested families should be on the look out and prevent/eliminate any interest in chewing things when she starts doing it like plastic bags or food wrappings etc. As of October Curry is 11 pounds and could use to loose a pound or two. She should have monitored food and lots of play activity with feather toys or lazer pens, etc.  Otherwise, she is a very healthy, outgoing, social and friendly cat who enjoys to greet visitors and is easily called. She is a gentle, funny and playful good kitty who can be adopted into a home with multiple cats as she is an easy going cat or as an only cat. She is good around dogs who are well mannered towards cats.   She is spayed fully vaccinated and tested negative for both feline leukemia and FIV.  We don't hold adoption events for felines, in order to meet them we must receive a submitted online adoption form. As soon as we receive it we will contact you via text or email to schedule a call. Once we spoken and finished processing the application and spoken about the adoption process if approved we move fwd to schedule a meet and greet where the kitties are fostered. Ideally, the day of adoption is the same day of the meet and greet. Please, DO NOT submit adoption applications if you are NOT ready to schedule a meet and possible adopt within a week of submission as we DO NOT place holds on rescues. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you. Submit applications online at ARWOB.org
