Description
Nutella is just as sweet as her name suggests! Nutella (aka Tella) is about 4-5 months old and is a goofy and fun girl who is quick to charm everyone she meets! She is a bubbly girl who loves making new friends. She has the happiest, wiggliest body, and there are no dull moments with this adorable girl around. Nutella weighs about 20lbs and we estimate that she will be at least 60lbs whne fully grown. Nutella came to us from a local shelter after she was surrendered with her two siblings. They were an unplanned litter, so the shelter helped get mom spayed and took the puppies in so that they could be adopted out. Tella spent weeks at the shelter with no adoption interest, so she was transferred to our care so she can be in a YCSPCA foster home until we find her fur-ever family. We were told that Tella's mom is a yellow lab, but we do not know who dad is. Based on her coloring and body, we think she may have some German Shepherd in her mix, but we suspect she has lots of different breeds in her DNA - a true mutt! Tella's favorite thing to do is whatever YOU want to do! She is an expert cuddler, master fetcher, chew-toy enthusiast, zoomies connoisseur, and universal BFF, all while still being a puppy! She is always down for some fun and can't wait to explore the world. She is looking for an active family that can help her continue to learn all of her basic manners and continue her socialization. Tella would be a great first dog for someone committed to putting in the time to work with her and help her grow up to be a well-rounded adult. Tella hasn't been around many other dogs, but we think she would love another playful dog in her new home to help mentor her. Tella has been doing great living with confident, dog-savvy cats in her foster home. Tella could be a wonderful family dog for a family with kids 7 years and older. Tella is still working on her house-training, but has been making great progress! Her new family will need to be consistent with her training and be patient while she is learning. Tella has been doing great with her crate training. She is content to be left in her crate for a few hours at a time and sleeps through the night like a champ. Due to her size and energy level, Tella wouldn't be a good fit for living in an apartment. If Tella sounds like the bundle of love you need in your life, submit an application today! Nutella's adoption fee is $400. Apply to adopt here! https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/ Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org) It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption.
