NOVEMBER 2026 PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON and her 2 siblings (ROBERT "BOBBY" NASH - HOWIE "CHIMMENY" HAN) were saved from a hoarding case in Watts, California. They were all barley surviving. We named all the cats that were saved from that place after the characters in the show 911. HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON was adopted and returned after about 6 months. She was adopted to be a therapy cat for a young child. And to her dismay she was returned. All we got from the pet parent was that she was moving. We took her to get examined and everything was good. HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON is a sweet and serene Mackerel Tabby cat who has captured the hearts of everyone she meets. Her journey began in an unlikely place—a drug rehab facility in Watts, California—where she and her siblings were found as tiny, sickly kittens. Despite the odds stacked against them, HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON and her siblings were nursed back to health, and HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON quickly proved herself to be a survivor, emerging from her difficult beginnings with a calm and loving demeanor that would define her for the rest of her life. HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON, is the picture of chill. She’s the kind of cat who prefers lounging on your lap for hours, gently purring away as she soaks up all the pets and attention. While she does enjoy playtime on occasion, her true passion is simply being near her human companions. Whether it’s curling up next to you on the couch, stretching out in a sunbeam, or peacefully coexisting with her feline siblings, HEN is a laid-back spirit who just wants to be part of the family. Her easygoing nature extends to her relationships with other cats as well—HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON gets along with every feline she meets, proving that her friendly disposition is as limitless as her love. She’s not one to claim a single spot, but she does have a preference for lap time, effortlessly finding her place as a comforting presence in any room. HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON's story is one of resilience and healing, and her gentle soul is a reminder of the power of kindness and care. Though she’s come a long way from her rough beginnings, she’s never forgotten how much love can change a life. Now, she spends her days in quiet joy, a constant reminder of the unconditional love that a rescue pet can give. HENRIETTA "HEN" WILSON’s journey from a sick kitten in a rehab center to the sweet lap cat she is today is a testament to the strength of the human-animal bond and the healing power of patience, care, and a warm lap.
