Tom

Description

My name is Tom and I am a Russian tortoise looking for a forever home for me and my wife Gerta. Gerta and I came to the SPCA after our owner could no longer take care of us. We've been living together for 10 years and are ready to meet our new extended family. Gerta occasionally lays eggs, so our owners will need to keep an eye on us and remove them so that there are no surprise babies on the horizon. Gerta and I are bonded, so we definitely want a home that has room for both of us. Do you have space for a couple of spunky tortoises? If so, please fill out an application with the SPCA today! Like all reptiles, Russian tortoises have special needs when it comes to feeding, lighting, temperature, and humidity. If you have any questions about tortoise care, please call our wildlife center at 831-264-5427.
