Birthday: November 5, 2025 Diego is the perfect combination of playful energy and cuddly companion. He plays hard and rests hard! One minute he's running, jumping, chasing toys, and climbing, and the next he's curled up at your feet, soaking up neck rubs, cheek strokes, and head scratches. His favorite place is wherever his people are! Diego's journey to finding a home began outside, where he was discovered crying after being cornered by another cat. Once the other cat was chased away, Diego began visiting daily, eventually making himself a permanent resident on the deck. He was initially thought to belong to someone because of his beautiful appearance, but it soon became clear that he needed help finding his own safe place. Diego was trapped for TNR and, rather than being returned to the outdoors, was given the opportunity to experience indoor life. He surprised everyone with how quickly he adapted! He immediately took to his litterbox, enjoyed meeting visitors, and showed just how affectionate and playful he could be. Since coming indoors, he has only become more loving and confident. A little about Diego: Playtime enthusiast: Diego loves his wand toys, little yarn balls, and especially his cat tunnel. He even carries his wand toys around in his mouth like a puppy! Professional cuddler: He loves being close to his people and happily rolls onto his back, curls up nearby, and asks for affection. Smart and curious: He's food-motivated, loves treats, learns quickly, and enjoys figuring out how things work. A boy with personality: His beautiful markings make him one of a kind, but his sweet, easygoing nature is what really steals your heart. Diego has plenty of beds and boxes to choose from, but don't be surprised if you find him completely passed out in his beloved cat tunnel! He has mastered the art of playing hard and napping even harder. Most importantly, Diego is discovering just how wonderful it is to be safe, loved, and cared for. He has gone from a frightened outdoor cat to a confident, affectionate boy who genuinely enjoys being around people. Now Diego is ready for his next adventure: finding a family to call his own! If you're looking for a handsome, entertaining, affectionate companion who will make you laugh, keep you company, and happily soak up all the love you have to give, Diego might just be your guy!  Diego's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.
