Bruce (shy guy @ Animal Hospital of Rye)

Description

Meet Bruce!  Bruce and the rest of the Rye Rascals were rescued from a hoarding situation in Summer 2026.  The wonderful staff at Animal Hospital of Rye helped Bruce get healthy and have been showing him how wonderful life can be.  Sometimes this can take a while for kitties like Bruce, who are certainly grateful for a new life and will blossom over time  In the meantime, he comes across as shy and unsure and hasn't quite shown his personality yet.  He is learning to trust and needs some extra time, patience, and understanding in a quiet home where he can feel safe coming out of his shell.  Cats like Bruce do really well with another friendly cat who can show him the ropes of Being A Cat.  Please consider offering a place to Bruce to show him who he is!   Bruce was born in April 2026 and is currently at the Animal Hospital of Rye in Enola.  Bruce's adoption donation is $135 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing (negative for both), microchip, and neuter. If you would like more information on Bruce, please contact Ellyn at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com or  the Animal Hospital of Rye directly. If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/  Please note:  LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed.  All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.
