 Meet Grace! A Beautiful Tortie with a Gentle Soul and a Heart Full of Love!Meet Grace, a beautiful tortoiseshell kitty with the sweetest little face and a gentle personality. Grace may be a little shy at first, but underneath that cautious exterior is a loving girl who just needs someone willing to give her the time and patience to blossom.Grace and her sister, Inky, were found outside without their mama and brought to safety. While Inky has quickly embraced the indoor life and happily claims any available lap, Grace is still learning that people can be trusted.But here’s the wonderful thing about Grace: she really does love affection! If you approach her slowly and gently, giving her a moment to feel safe, she absolutely enjoys being petted. Watching her gain confidence and learn to trust is incredibly rewarding.Grace also has a playful side! She loves toys that make noise, especially little balls with bells and rattling mice. She’s still figuring out wand toys, although that might have something to do with her outgoing sister, Inky, always jumping in and stealing the spotlight! Grace enjoys both wet and dry food, but wet food is definitely a favorite.Grace would flourish in a quieter home where she can finally relax, feel secure, and let her personality shine. My foster home is a bit of a zoo with lots of cats and activity, and I think Grace would love a peaceful environment where she doesn’t have to compete for attention.Our dream would be for Grace and Inky to find their forever home together. Inky gives Grace confidence, and having her sister by her side would make the transition to a new home so much easier. A calm household with adults or older children, preferably ages 12 and up, would be ideal.Grace isn’t the kitty who will immediately run into your arms. She’s the kitty who will quietly steal your heart as you earn her trust. And when she finally realizes she’s safe and loved, I believe she’ll blossom into the most wonderful companion.Sometimes the sweetest souls just need a little extra time to bloom.
