Description

Skye is a beautiful 3-month-old girl with a gentle heart, a gorgeous fluffy coat, and a playful side she's just waiting for the right person to discover. After a difficult start to life, she's understandably a little shy in new surroundings and takes time to warm up. But once she feels safe, her sweet and silly personality starts to shine!Skye is happiest curled up in a cozy blanket or snuggled up with a kitten friend. In fact, her favorite sleeping spot is right on top of another kitten, with absolutely no concern for whether she's accidentally covering their face with all that floof! She doesn't have the most action-packed play style, but she enjoys  tunnels and occasionally popping out to surprise the other kittens. She'll even try to copy other kittens when they go after a wand toy, although she can get a little embarrassed if her jump doesn't go as planned.Once she's comfortable, Skye discovers her voice, and it's absolutely adorable! Mealtime is when her confidence really comes out. She'll bounce around announcing, "Me first! Me first!" before settling in to savor every bite. She's a bit of a slow eater, but she's learned to stand her ground and will plant her little paw right in her food bowl if someone tries to steal her dinner! One of the sweetest things about Skye is her special relationship with her foster home's adult male cat. Despite being timid with so many things, she gravitated toward him almost immediately, and a whole different side of her personality comes out when he's around. She's also very attached to her brother Chase, who has been her little protector from the beginning and helped her learn to trust new people and surroundings.Skye has met other kittens, adult cats, small dogs, and older children. She would do best in a quiet, calm home with people around who can give her the patience and encouragement she needs to build confidence. She'll need another kitten in her forever home, and her first choice would certainly be Chase! These two share a special bond, and they would love to continue life together with a family of their own.
