Description

Pixie is a stunning four year old doberman with the typical dobey temperament. Loves nothing more than to cuddle and nap right next to her humans. Shes always laying close enough to get pets! Her second favorite activity is running around playing in the yard. Keep in mind she needs a very secure/tall fence… this girl has a habit of chasing squirrels a little too far! We recommend keeping a close eye on her while she’s outside.  She loves to play with other dogs, but requires a slow introduction & some patience because she tends to get a little too excited when meeting new friends. Pixie has 2 young foster siblings, and she plays with them just like she’s also a puppy.  She does well with cats, at least ones who tolerate her “love” of giving them kisses! She does have a habit of pulling on the leash but will settle down part way through her walks. Blue dobermans are prone to skin issues, Color Dilution Alopecia (CDA), so she will need some extra love to keep her skin hydrated and healthy. The good news is she handles grooming very well & doesn’t mind frequent baths, lotions & blow drys!  Pixie is a very sweet and well mannered girl who is looking for a family who will show her what it means to be loved forever!
