❤️ MEET GINA — A LITTLE SHADOW LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO LOVE! ❤️ Imagine losing the person you loved, the home you knew, and the security of everything familiar to you... all at once. That's exactly what happened to sweet little Gina. Gina is one of four dogs rescued by Green Dog Foundation from the Hesperia Shelter after their owner passed away. Suddenly, the only world they knew was gone, and these frightened little souls found themselves in a noisy, unfamiliar shelter, not understanding what had happened or why. But Gina's story didn't end there. ❤️ Today, this beautiful, dainty little girl is discovering that life can be wonderful again, and what a sweetheart she is! Gina can be a little timid when meeting someone new, but give her just a little time and you'll discover the most affectionate, devoted little companion. Gina is what we lovingly call a "little shadow." Once she's comfortable with you, she wants to be wherever you are! She loves to cuddle, would happily spend hours curled up in your lap, and seems to find her greatest happiness simply being close to someone she loves. She's quiet, gentle, petite, and has the most adorable little freckles sprinkled all over her body. Those markings, combined with her sweet expression, make her absolutely irresistible! Gina also gets along beautifully with other dogs and enjoys a good romp and play session. But given the choice between playtime and snuggling up with her favorite person, we have a feeling the lap wins every time! ❤️ She walks nicely on a leash and sleeps in her crate without a fuss, although we're pretty sure her dream sleeping arrangement would be snuggled up beside someone who adores her. Gina doesn't need a grand adventure or an exciting lifestyle to be happy. She just needs kindness, patience, a warm place to curl up, and someone who will remind her that she's safe and loved. She lost her person once.
