❤️ MEET SEYMOUR — THE LITTLE GENTLEMAN WHO ALMOST GOT LEFT BEHIND! ❤️ Sometimes the dogs who need us most are the ones who aren't making a sound. When we were at the Hesperia Shelter picking up several other dogs, we happened to notice a quiet, scruffy little fellow who absolutely broke our hearts. His name is Seymour. There was something about him. He looked so sad, so defeated, almost as though he had given up hope that anyone was ever coming for him. We simply couldn't leave him behind. So, at the very last minute, Seymour became one more passenger in our car and one more precious life given a second chance. ❤️ And what a wonderful surprise this little gentleman has turned out to be! Seymour weighs 21 pounds and was estimated by the shelter to be approximately 7 years old. However, based on the condition of his teeth, we suspect he may be considerably younger, possibly closer to 4. Whatever his age, he is an absolute treasure! He's quiet, gentle, affectionate, and has the most wonderful disposition. He gets along beautifully with all the other dogs here at the ranch, walks like a perfect gentleman on a leash, and sleeps nicely in his crate. Although, if Seymour had his way, he'd much rather be curled up in a cozy bed right beside you. ❤️ And here's something that makes this little guy even more adorable... SEYMOUR HAS A HIDDEN TALENT! He can stand on his two hind legs for an amazingly long time — and he can even WALK that way! Apparently, our quiet little gentleman has a few tricks up his sleeve! But what we love most about Seymour is his gentle, loving nature. He's not demanding, he's not loud, and he doesn't ask for much. He simply wants to be loved and to belong. It's hard to imagine that someone, somewhere, isn't desperately missing this wonderful little dog. But since no one came for him, we're going to make sure the next chapter of his life is filled with everything he deserves.
