Jinx

Description

Jinx is a 2-year-old, 59-pound German shepherd mix who is sweet, affectionate, and FULL of energy! As she’s gotten comfortable at the shelter, Jinx has really come out of her shell and shown us her playful, joyful personality. She has serious zoomies and could run forever, but she also loves leaning in for pets, rolling over for belly rubs, and soaking up attention from her people. She absolutely loves splashing around in the kiddie pool, too! Jinx is smart and treat-motivated, knows “sit” and “down,” and enjoys learning. She’s an enthusiastic young dog who is still working on her leash skills and polite greetings, especially when she’s excited to see people or other dogs. When introduced to other dogs in a structured setting, Jinx remained calm and relaxed. She’s recommended as a solo dog or with another appropriately matched dog in the home. Jinx is looking for an experienced adopter who can provide decompression time, consistent positive training, plenty of exercise and enrichment, and appropriate outlets for all that energy. For the right person, Jinx is a wonderfully fun, loving girl who brings a whole lot of JOY!         View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by Oakland Animal Services (OAS) (@oaklandanimalservices)
