Description
Every day is Friday in Magenta's world! Meet Magenta! This adorable 2-year-old Staffy mix came to us after her owner could no longer keep her. What she may lack in size, she more than makes up for with personality. This petite pup is so tiny you might think she could fit right in your pocket!Magenta is sweet, playful, and seems to believe life is one giant celebration. As far as we can tell, she's never had a bad day in her life. Whether she's making new friends, playing, or curling up for cuddles, Magenta approaches every moment with pure joy and enthusiasm. She's currently learning her basic obedience skills and leash manners and is eager to continue her training with a family committed to helping her shine. Magenta would do well with children who can handle an energetic and playful companion.During her cat test, Magenta was more startled by the cat than the other way around! When the cat gave her a swat, she quickly decided that keeping her distance was a good idea. She could do well in a home with a cat, especially one that is patient and understanding as she adjusts.Magenta also enjoys the company of other dogs. She can be a little excited when first meeting new canine friends, but once she settles in, she does great and enjoys having playmates around. When the day is done, this happy-go-lucky girl is all about the cuddles. If you're looking for a small dog with a huge heart, endless happiness, and plenty of snuggles to share, Magenta may be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️Magenta's adoption fee is $175, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
