WINSTON

Description

Meet Winston – Your Little Cloud of Happiness! At just about 2 years old and weighing in at a tiny 11 pounds, Winston is a whole lot of personality wrapped up in one adorable, fluffy little package! This handsome white Shih Tzu mix recently arrived at the shelter a little worse for wear, with a severely matted coat, but he's had a fresh new groom and is looking and feeling so much better!Winston can be a little shy when meeting new people, but don't let that fool you! Give him a little time and patience, and his sweet personality starts to shine. Before you know it, he'll be showing off his playful side and stealing your heart! When it comes to other dogs, Winston may be a little nervous at first, but with time, proper introductions, and a chance to get comfortable, he can warm up to his canine companions.Because of his tiny size and sometimes-nervous nature, Winston would do best in a home with older, respectful children who understand that little dogs need gentle handling. He would also benefit from continued training to help build his confidence and learn all the important things that come with being someone's beloved companion.Winston has already had his makeover, and now he's ready for the most important transformation of all… going from a shelter pup to someone's cherished family member! If you're looking for a pint-sized best friend with a big heart, a playful spirit, and plenty of love to give, Winston might just be your happily ever after! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $300.
