Fred and Ed (Eddy) are 7-year-old brothers who have been together their entire lives. Their mom has loved them since they were just 6 weeks old, and having to find them a new home is breaking her heart. These boys are both gentle, sweet cats, each with his own special personality. Fred is the quieter of the two. He likes to sit back and watch what's going on, but when he gets some one-on-one attention, he's a real sweetheart. Eddy is the snuggler of the family. He's a loyal little companion who loves following his mom around the house, keeping her company and making sure she's never alone. Fred and Eddy have always been indoor-only cats, and that's the way they need to stay. They're not used to being outside and wouldn't know how to take care of themselves. They haven't spent much time around children but do fine when the grandkids visit. They've never lived with dogs, so we're not sure how they would feel about them. Their mom is now a senior and has become prone to falling. As much as she loves her boys, she's worried about everyone's safety and has made the heartbreaking decision to find them another home.  Both boys are neutered, current on vaccinations, and have been loved and cared for their whole lives. Fred and Eddy are a bonded pair and must stay together. They've never known life without each other, and their mom's greatest wish is to find someone who will love them as much as she does.
