Meet Fernando! ❤️ Your next best friend and professional cuddle buddy!     At about 2 years old and 68 pounds, Fernando is a lovable, affectionate boy who has so much love to give. He’s a wonderful combination of playful, energetic, and cuddly. He loves his toys (especially chew toys, which can keep him happily entertained for hours!), enjoys wrestling and playing with other dogs, and is equally happy curling up beside you on the couch or snuggling in bed.   Fernando settled into his first foster home remarkably quickly. Within just a few days, he was following his people everywhere and had bonded with all the resident dogs. He’s well-socialized, has shown no signs of aggression, and responds well to corrections from other dogs.   He’s also a pretty easy houseguest! He quickly learned the household routine, became potty trained within a week, and figured out stairs in just three days. Two daily walks help him burn off energy, after which he’s generally happy to relax and enjoy family time.   Fernando also enjoys car rides and going on walks. He has a good amount of energy, so he’d love a family who can include him in their daily lives and adventures, while also appreciating his softer, cuddly side.   After a difficult start, Fernando has come a long way. He underwent successful TPLO surgery and is now five weeks into recovery. He’s been cleared for easy activities as he continues healing, with a gradual return to normal activity as approved by his veterinary team.   Fernando has not yet been cat-tested, but we hope to have an update soon.   He’s ready for the next chapter of his life: a loving forever home where he’ll have companionship, playtime, adventures, and plenty of snuggles.   Could that be with you?
