Nellie

Description

Gentle giant is an understatement with sweet Nellie! Nellie is about a year and a half old Bloodhound Mix. She is topping the scale at 93lb, but could still stand to gain a few more pounds. She is just the sweetest girl with a ginormous noggin and feet the size of dessert plates! Her hobbies include napping on the floor, sofa, and dog-beds, hand-holding, sniff-spections, chewing on stuffies, belly rubs, playing with our resident dogs, and frolicking in the backyard. She is house-broken and handles a kennel fairly well once you lure her in with a tasty treat or two. She travels great in a vehicle, but may want an entire third row to herself if she wants to nap. She’s also a quiet young lady. We haven’t heard her howl or bay yet. And yes, she does drool as much as you’d expect with those big droopy jowls! She is ready to be your new best friend, and as an added bonus, if you put her in a trench coat she’d look just like McGruff the Crime Dog!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $575.00
