Description

My name Tatum and I just arrived from Arkansas. I am a fun loving dog who is learning about the good life and the finer things like toys and couches. Here is a quick overview, but please read more about me below, too. +Dog and human friendly +Crate trained (not a fan, but I'll do it) +Potty/house trained on a schedule. I don't have any tells yet, so the schedule is important for me to be successful. +Child friendly, but learning boundaries with kids. I love them so much that I get overly excited and forget to be calm. I am learning about stairs. I can go up them now, but going down them is still pretty scary. I'm getting more brave with them every day though! I like to be outside, but am happy to come back in when you call. I'm learning about house training, being an indoor dog is newer to me. I do well in my kennel if I have to go in it when I don't want to, but it makes me nervous to get in there (sometimes I need a bit of physical encouragement). I do great if I can see you, but get worried if I can't. I bark a bit until I settle in. I sleep in my kennel in my foster parent's room and sleep through the night like a champ. I love couch snuggles with people! Especially the kids in the house. I am dog friendly and am fairly submissive. I am redirected well if they tell me I'm being too much. I walk well on a leash and don't pull much. My perfect home is patient and full of love and regular reassurance that I am safe and loved. And toys. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
