Knapsack Approx. date of birth: Aug 2024 Spayed Vaccinated for RHDV2 Meet Knapsack Knapsack is a beautiful young adult Lionhead-Lop mix with a fluffy coat and a story of resilience. She was found as a stray with her fur severely matted, but she’s on her way to a fresh start! Her coat is still growing back, and with the right care, she’ll be looking and feeling her best. Knapsack is considered a special-needs rabbit because of her unique coat and breed, so she’ll need an experienced home prepared to keep up with her grooming needs. The good news? She tolerates grooming! She can be a little moody at times, but she’s adjusting nicely in her foster home and showing more of her personality as she settles in. This girl is motivated by fresh greens and tasty treats, which is a great way to win her heart. She’s looking for a patient family who understands that every rabbit has her own timeline for trust and affection. Knapsack would also love the chance to find a compatible rabbit companion to share her happily ever after. Knapsack has no known medical issues, just a special coat that needs extra care and a whole lot of love to help her thrive. Could you be the experienced, understanding home this fluffy girl deserves? Rabbits are prey animals and it's natural for them to hide. They need an extra-large habitat for room to run around and play. Potential adopters will be asked to provide proof of habitat and other provisions (see below). We ask that you research owning Rabbits and be fully aware of what is involved. They require lots of time and space. Make sure you have no allergies to them or hay that is fed.Rabbits can be extremely social animals, and require alot if attention. Rabbits live an average of 8 to 12 years, sometimes longer. Please take this time commitment into consideration when looking to adopt a Rabbit. Please fill out a Rabbit Application.
