A SWEET AND AFFECTIONATE FELLOW: Approx. 5.5 years old / Approx. 10.5 lbs.  Hi, my name is Peeta! I was adopted from Mostly Mutts several years ago—one of the ‘Hunger Games’ themed kittens. Unfortunately, the family went through several life changes, and I came back to Mostly Mutts in search of a new home. Soon I was adopted again but became mysteriously sick. I returned to Mostly Mutts and was quickly sent to the vet where they discovered I had accidentally ingested a string that wrapped around my tongue and entered my esophagus and GI tract. Yikes! I needed emergency surgery but have recovered nicely and am ready to find my happily ever after. Is that with you? • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I got along with other kitties in my previous home according to my former owner, so I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitty friend, let’s meet! / Dogs unknown / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitty. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitty, and—of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I was pretty shy when I first arrived in my foster home upon my return to Mostly Mutts, but I soon realized I was in a good place. I have now opened up and—not only do I readily approach my foster for affection, but I’ll also wind up under foot in search of your attention. I’m as sweet and affectionate as I am handsome. • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I’m a loving guy who thrives on pets and cuddles with my people. Give me a chance to be your cuddly, ever-present companion! / I can't think of any dislikes, but I would not like it if I didn’t get the love and attention on which I thrive!  • MEDICAL: I’m current on my annual vaccinations, micro-chipped, combo tested negative and neutered.   I am looking for a wonderful furever home with a loving family!
