Meet Piaki (which means "Gift")! About Me: I am a gorgeous, 4-year-old orange, cream-colored female tabby with stunning green eyes who wants nothing more than to be the absolute center of family life. True to my name, I am an absolute gift to anyone who loves affection! Because I was bottle-fed as a tiny baby, I am incredibly bonded to humans. I am a true shadow—I will happily follow my owner around from room to room just to be near you and see what you are doing. I love chasing a laser pointer! My absolute favorite thing in the world is to just cuddle up with you and lounge belly-up waiting for belly rubs. My Ideal Home: I am a confident girl who does great with daily household activity and loves welcoming visitors into the home! However, I really don't like sharing the spotlight. Lately, sharing a home with multiple cats and a toddler who takes my attention away has caused me to feel depressed and overwhelmed. Center of attention: I would love to be your one-and-only spoiled pet where I can get all your love! However, I could also be adopted with my biological sister if you are looking for a pair. We have a polite "roommate" relationship—we occasionally sniff noses, but mostly just do our own thing. No other pets, please! A quiet, mature environment: I am looking for a home with no toddlers or young children. However, I could thrive in a home with older, calm children or teenagers who know how to gently respect a kitty's boundaries and love a good cuddle session. A Note on My Care: Because I am such a sensitive and people-oriented girl, I currently experience stress-induced urinary issues when other pets and small children take the attention away from me. This is strictly a recent physical response to specific environmental stress. In a home where life revolves around me, my anxiety will melt away and my bathroom habits will return to normal. I am ready to be the perfect gift for someone and be their cherished, loyal companion.
