Description
***THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY*** **WAG ON INN HAS NO FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE OF THIS ANIMAL'S REACTIONS AND CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY BEHAVIORAL OR MEDICAL ISSUES** Rudy is a sweet and well-mannered husky mix who, through no fault of his own, needs a new home. Rudy is currently living in an apartment with a baby and likes kids, but just isn't getting the exercise and attention he needs. Rudy is good with all people and good with the baby. He has a gentle mouth when taking treats and loves other dogs. He has also lived with cats! Rudy is housebroken, and not destructive when left alone. He can walk nicely on leash but may get excited when he sees other dogs and gets nervous around bikes going by. He loves his plush and squeaky toys- Rudy would do well with another dog in the house and/or with more walks and enrichment. Rudy is affectionate with his people and good in the car and for baths. He is a bit nervous at the vet but does not need to be muzzled. In short, Rudy is a sweet, handsome well behaved husky mix who is a good boy and likely would do well with more attention and enrichment than his current family is able to give him. At 4 years old, the puppy years are behind, but he is still a young happy boy. He could make a great addition to many families. Rudy is here in NJ ready to find his forever home! Note: Rudy is coming to us through our owner surrender program. They will remain under the care of their owner until they are officially transferred to Wag On Inn to an approved foster or adopter. Rudy is neutered and will be brought up to date on all vaccines and microchipped prior to adoption. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
