Meet V—a unique name for a unique boy!V found himself surrendered to the shelter after his owner was no longer able to care for him. As his owner held him for the very last time to say goodbye, all V wanted to do was bury himself in their arms and hide away from the unfamiliar world around him. It’s heartbreaking to imagine how confusing and frightening this experience must have been for him. But while one chapter of V’s life has come to an end, we’re hopeful that a beautiful new one is just around the corner. We’re ready to help this special boy find a home where he can feel safe, loved and cherished for the rest of his life.Understandably, V is extremely stressed and overwhelmed by shelter life. He hasn’t quite found his footing or felt safe enough to let his true colours shine. Right now, he’s hissing at everyone, trying to make sense of why everything around him feels so unfamiliar.V will need a patient, understanding and quiet home where he can decompress and adjust at his own pace. He may not be ready to show you his sweet side just yet, but we believe there’s a lovely boy underneath all that armour, just waiting to feel safe again.V has been through a lot of change, and what he needs now is someone willing to give him the time, space and understanding to find his confidence again. His next chapter is waiting to be written, and we hope it will be one that lasts a lifetime.
