Meet Thomas! This sweet boy has suffered a serious nerve injury to his left front (LF) leg, and unfortunately, the damage is severe enough that the leg cannot be saved.After veterinary evaluation, Thomas will need surgical amputation of his left front leg to give him the best chance at a comfortable, pain-free life.We know this is a big hurdle, but cats are incredibly resilient! Thomas can still have a wonderful, happy life on three legs. He just needs a little extra help getting there. Unfortunately, surgery, pain management, and post-operative recovery come with expenses, and we are asking our amazing community to help us get Thomas the care he needs.This animal is at risk for euthanasia.  If you are interested in helping, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov with your contact information so we can call you back.
