OPAL

Description

11/04/26 10:11 Opal is an 8 month old female spayed kitten who came into shelter in late September with traumatic open fracture of her RIGHT hip. The skin is largely healed overtop and Opal is comfortable and bearing weight with minimal lameness at this point in time. Repeat radiographs taken 11/2/26 show significant bony callous at fracture site but no overt signs of bone infection. Opal may need amputation of the limb in the future if she has worsening pain or mobility complications but for now remains comfortable. Available for adoption or to rescue.
