Meet Nymeria (aka Kitty)! Beautiful Nymeria has been with her person since she was a kitten. She's always been an independent girl, but as she's gotten older, she's become more affectionate and has really come to enjoy companionship. She's used to sleeping with her owner at night, loves a good cuddle and has been known to happily knead and purr away when she's comfortable. She's also a big fan of sunny windowsills!Nymeria enjoys affection but appreciates having some say in the matter. She can become overstimulated with petting and will let you know when she's had enough—ears back means it's time for a break, and she may nip or bat if her signals aren't respected. She also prefers keeping all four paws on the ground rather than being picked up.Unfortunately, life with very young children has become stressful for Nymeria, so she's looking for a quiet, adult-only home where she can relax and be herself. She has lived with both a cat and a dog in the past, but they mostly tolerated one another and kept to themselves. Nymeria would prefer to be the only pet in her new home.Nymeria may be shy at first, but once she's comfortable, there's a sweet, affectionate girl waiting underneath. She's ready for a peaceful new chapter with a sunny window, a cozy bed and someone to snuggle with at night.
