KANE

Description

#A5805504 Meet Kane , a 5-year-old Pit Bull gentleman with a gorgeous slate-grey coat, accented by little hints of white on his chest and tippy toes! This sweet boy may not be feeling his best these days - he has arthritis in his hips and front right leg, so his new family will need to follow up with an outside veterinarian after adoption to help him get the care he deserves. But don't let his aches and pains overshadow the enormous amount of love this boy has to give - he's an absolute sweetheart who is eager to share it with everyone! Kane is wonderful with people and has also been calm and curious when meeting other dogs through the fence at the shelter. Sadly surrendered because his owner no longer wanted the responsibility of a pet, Kane also shows signs that he hasn't always received the care he needed. This good boy deserves a soft place to land, a family who will put his well-being first, and all the love he's been waiting for. Will that be with you?   -5 year old grey and white Pitbull -98 pound neutered male -up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! But does have some arthritis that needs to be treated, so will need to see an outside vet upon adoption -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 10/12/26 as an owner surrender - they said they could no longer have the responsibility of a pet, but it doesn’t look like poor Kane was receiving all the care he needed even when they had him  -still very sweet and gentle with both people and other pups here at the shelter, despite the discomfort he is in due to his joints   KANE’S VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/fFhO3P8kjpk   KANE AND MAXX MEET VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/WASGpJ4jd1U   For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org ~Photo credit Sue H.   Look up this or other animals at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center https://animalcare.lacounty.gov/view-our-animals/    Use their unique ID NUMBER.
