Meet Boysenberry!Small but mighty, Boysenberry is proof that the biggest fighters sometimes come in the tiniest packages! This handsome little tuxedo boy is a true survivor with a whole lot of personality, determination, and love packed into his adorable little body.Boysenberry came into foster care at just 10 days old with a severe injury, he was missing a foot . As the runt of his litter, he had quite a difficult start, and there were times when we weren’t sure this little guy would make it. But Boysenberry had other plans! After determining that an amputation would give him the best chance at a comfortable, active life, he underwent surgery and recently had his stitches removed. Now he’s recovering beautifully and absolutely thriving!Boysenberry is a tripod kitty, but you’d never know it, because he’s sure there’s nothing different about him. He has no idea he’s missing a limb, and frankly, he doesn’t have time to worry about it! He’s too busy playing, climbing, wrestling with his brothers, and zooming around the foster room. His missing limb doesn’t slow him down one bit—in fact, he can be faster than some of his four-legged siblings! Since he has grown up this way, he’s already adapted wonderfully to life on three legs and gets around like any other playful kitten.And what a sweet boy he is! Boysenberry is a social, affectionate little guy who loves being part of the action. He’s one of four rambunctious brothers who have perfected the art of rough-and-tumble kitten play, and he is always ready to join the fun. His brothers are his best buddies, and he’d love to find a home where he can continue enjoying all the adventures of kittenhood.Boysenberry would be thrilled to be adopted with one of his brothers (Blueberry, or Marmalade) or his sweet and shy mamma Bonne Maman. Although another friendly, playful young cat would also make a wonderful companion. Having a feline friend to play with and grow up alongside will help this little guy continue to thrive.Boysenberry may look a little different, but he has all the same kitten energy, curiosity, and affection as his siblings—and then some!
