FLANNEL*

Description

Meet Flannel, the orange tabby and white kitten. Flannel arrived to the Shelter as a stray. He was wounded after crawling into a car engine compartment. Fortunately, his wounds were relatively minor and he has been healing very well with routine wound care and does not require any further treatment. He has a small remaining wound on his lip that we anticipate will heal fully over the next several days. He will have a permanent scar at this site that will make his lip look a little different but will not cause any dysfunction or discomfort.Flannel is a social kitten who would thrive in a variety of homes. Any introductions to resident animals should be done in a slow, thoughtful manner. To keep Flannel safe (along with our local wildlife), he should be kept safely indoors. Flannel is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
