KIWI*

Description

Meet Kiwi, the 5 month old black and white female kitten! Kiwi came to the Shelter as a stray but clearly has been socialized with people prior to her arrival. Staff report that she is calm, social and easy to vaccinate. Kiwi may do well in a home with other animals provided there is a slow, thoughtful introduction. To keep Kiwi safe (as well as our local wildlife) an indoor only home is recommended moving forward. Kiwi is available for pre-adoption. Come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery. Kiwi’s adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund, a fund that draws adopter’s eyes towards often overlooked black cats in Shelters. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
