Hershey came to us from MADACC, a Milwaukee shelter, and we're learning more about his story every day. ❤️ Hershey came from a hoarding situation with approximately 30 other dogs. That means the world as most of us know it is still pretty new to him. He's missed out on a lot of the things other dogs take for granted. Basic training, confidence, socialization, and learning how to navigate life in a home are all things he'll need help with. But here's what we're already seeing... Hershey WANTS to learn! In the short time he's been with us, we've seen that spark. That curiosity. That little bit of drive that tells us he's ready to figure this whole world out. He just needs someone willing to show him the way. Hershey isn't a finished product. He's a work in progress, and that's okay! He'll need patience, consistency, encouragement, and someone who understands that confidence isn't built overnight. But imagine being the person who gets to watch him discover all the things he's been missing. The first time he realizes he can do something new. The first time he tackles something that once scared him. The first time he truly believes in himself. That's the magic of giving a dog like Hershey a chance.
