Gene

Description

Gene's journey began in Puerto Rico, where homeless cats far outnumber the homes available to them. Adoption there is a long shot, and many kittens grow up waiting for a family that never comes. Gene and his brother Bob faced that same uncertain future together. Thanks to Save a Gato Rescue, they got a second chance. Gene traveled all the way from Puerto Rico to the mainland, leaving the hard start behind for a shot at the life every cat deserves. Now this handsome black-and-white boy is healthy, happy, and overflowing with love. He's affectionate, gentle, and so grateful for every pet and cuddle. Gene is proof that a rough beginning doesn't have to define the ending. He came a very long way to find his people.
